Banned TVC of Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio ft. Catrinel Menghia

The thrill just got more thrilling.

Chrysler Group LLC posted its new “Topless” ad featuring Romanian model Catrinel Menghia. Its a cheeky commercial, focusing on the topless theme of the car by showing off a certain super model, completely topless. Well, she is topless, but you can’t see much. This is a television commercial after all. Found in this new ad, super-model Catrinel Menghia has also been featured in a another Abarth 500 advertisement titled Seduction. India will soon receive Fiat Abarth models. The entry of Abarth models are expected to happen in 2013,but this is the first time she ends up without a shirt.

New Fiat 500 Cabrio (convertible) Abarth features the Catrinel in a very seductive spot..sunbathing at the beach. After a quick clip of the Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio speeding past some sand dunes, we see a scorpion crawling on the girl’s butt. It crawls up her back and uses its pinchers to clip the string on her bikini top so it flies off. Right as he cuts it, the new car flies by on the beach. The new Fiat is a convertible-like car where the top can be removed, which parallels the now topless woman. At the end, the girl gets up, drops her bikini top on the ground and runs into the water. The scorpion grabs the top and crawls away.. The ad shows a scorpion (symbol of Abarth) cutting the bikini top off of the Romanian model as the new vehicle drives by, followed by Menghia running into the water and the scorpion dragging the top on the beach. The Abarth Cabrio is expected to arrive in dealerships in the first-quarter of 2013, followed by the 500e in California during the second quarter and the 500L and Trekking mid-next year. the Fiat brand debuted the seductive ad with Menghia, which after the show went viral and reached more than 11 million hits in days after being posted on YouTube. Following the popularity, the brand decided to use it as an ad for the 2012 Super Bowl. It is great to see a video that was created on a shoestring budget and not intended to be shown on television, receive prestigious accolades like the D Show ‘Best TV Commercial’ honor. The Abarth Cabrio is the mating of the 500C’s retractable roof with Abarth’s performance, as under the hood lives the standard Abarth 1.6-liter, 160-hp turbocharged engine. Lose the hardtop in favor of an airy convertible cloth-top and it’s joyride time. A short wheelbase and sport-tuned suspension work with a tight chassis, giving the FIAT 500 Abarth Cabrio wonderfully zippy handling. An exhilarating little car eager to weave freely through the world. Nothing average. Nothing middle of the road.
